Back in the summer (ahh, remember summer?), our fashion director wrote about a surprising development in Cameron Diaz’s career: the actress had stepped up as artistic director of Pour La Victoire. Now, several months later, the much-anticipated first designs from Cam’s foray into the fashion world are out, and the results are much like Cameron herself – sleek and sexy, yet still down to earth.

Done up in neutral hues, luxe leather, and rich suede, the strappy heels and booties feature lower heels, because comfort is just as important as style to the celebrity-turned-designer. “For both Charlie’s Angels movies, we wore heels, ran in heels, did kung fu in heels,” she says. “We weren’t pretending. Heel function is a very important thing for me.”
