The United States Attorney’s Office of Massachusetts announced that the trial for suspected Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will start next fall.

The trial for United States v. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will start November 3, 2014, according to a tweet from U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Well, a couple of Tweets actually…

On January 30th, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder gave approval to federal prosecutors to seek death penalty for the surviving bombing suspect.

Tsarnaev, 20, is accused of 30 federal counts stemming from the bombings, 17 of which are punishable by death.

Last April 15, Marathon Monday, “Jahar” and his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev allegedly set off two pressure cooker bombs on Boylston Street, near the marathon finish line, killing three people and injuring more than 260 others.

Both are also held responsible for the fatal shooting MIT officer Sean Collier, prior to the infamous Watertown shootout later that week.

Tamerlan died in the gunfight.
