Calling all the single ladies and gents. If you’re ready to find love, it looks like you’ve landed in the right place.

Not only is Boston a great place to be single (apparently), but it’s also one of the best cities in the U.S. to find love – which is saying a lot. According to a recent CreditDonkey study, Boston is ranked as the number 10 best city to find love in the country.

In order to determine the opportune places for love, the study looked at several factors including: Number of single people, divorce rates, credit scores, unemployment rates, and depression statistics.

Boston made number 10 “with about 30 percent of residents never having married, as well as low divorce rates and the highest average credit score” on the list. Here’s how our town looks by the numbers:

Unmarried adults per capita: 30%

Unmarried males to unmarried females: 688,482: 663,824

Divorce rate: 8.9%

Average credit score: 702

Unemployment: 6.6%

Likelihood of depression: 15.3%

Not bad, folks. Given these numbers, Boston singles should be pretty optimistic about their chances of love in the Hub –especially this Valentine’s Day.
