USA Today put out a list of the top Valentine’s restaurants in each of the best U.S. cities for dining. The list, which does not include chain restaurants, is based on Facebook check-ins on or around Valentine’s Day. Top of the Hub, one of BostInno’s 20 most romantic restaurants in Boston, made the list, but just in case you’re wondering what the other nine restaurants are, we’ve included them below.
(1) Blue Dragon, 324 A Street, Fort Point
Asian tapas-style cuisine. Owned by celebrity chef and restauranteur, Blue Dragon offers asian cuisine with an east-meets-west twist.
(2) Salvatore’s – 5 locations in and around Boston
Italian cuisine. Salvatore’s offers authentic Italian cuisine, and was created by Sal Lupoli, the namesake of the famous Sal’s Pizza chain.
(3) Top of the Hub, 800 Boylston Street, Back Bay
Contemporary American cuisine. At 52 floors in the air, Top of the Hub serves up award-winning dishes, as well as a scenic view of Boston’s Back Bay.
(4) Tokyo Japanese Steak House, 250 Granite Street, Braintree, MA
Japanese cuisine. Tokyo Japanese Steak House is a highly-rated restaurant offering a selection of Japanese cuisine, including a Teppanyaki dinner.
(5) Mare Oyster Bar, 135 Richmond Street, North End
Oyster bar and seafood. Located in Boston’s North End, Mare Oyster Bar offers a large menu specializing in seafood dishes.
(6) Grill 23 & Bar, 161 Berkeley Street (at Stuart Street), Back Bay
Steak and seafood grill. Grill 23 & Bar is “New England’s premier steak and seafood grill” with an award-winning wine list to compliment its menu.
(7) da Vinci, 162 Columbus Avenue, South End
Modern and classic Italian cuisine. Located in Boston’s South End, da Vinci is a stylish restaurant, contributing both flavor and flair to Boston’s restaurant scene.
(8) FiRE + iCE – 205 Berkeley Street, Back Bay
Create-your-own-meal. FiRE + iCE is a family restaurant that allows you to pick your favorite ingredients from its market, and ultimately create your own meal.
(9) The Vault, 105 Water Street, Financial District
American cuisine. The Vault is a hidden gem in Boston’s financial district, serving up good ol’ American dishes.
(10) Mooo Restaurant – 15 Beacon Street, Beacon Hill
Modern steakhouse. A sophisticated steakhouse, Mooo Restaurant puts a modern twist on steak dishes, and is located on Boston’s Beacon Hill.
