If you think nothing is worth venturing out in the cold temps and slushy snow for – think again (and look below).

This Tagliatelle ?a la Bolognese proved every bit of the snowy trip worth the hassle. Accompanied with meat ragout, tomato, porcini cream and pecorino cheese – this appetizer size dish from the North End’s Prezza restaurant was every bit as good as it sounds.

My dinner partner and I left no bite untouched. After clearing our plate of the lipsmackingly good Bolognese sauce, we also tried a few other appetizers. A few of which I highly recommend ordering next time you find yourself in the neighborhood.

We tried the Crispy Shrimp app served with Italian slaw and cherry pepper aioli. The slaw had a spicy mayo – sriracha-like – kick to it. Wrapped in crispy, lightly fried wisps, the shrimp was crunchy and delicious.

We also had a bite (or many) of their Sunnyside Egg on grilled crostini appetizer. The dish was accompanied with well-sauteed mushrooms and truffle pecorino cheese. There’s something about the combination of a runny egg yolk and a buttery crostini that screams perfect snow day dish to me.

And finally, we saved the best for the last with Prezza’s scrumptious desserts. Truly my favorite part of the meal, the Italian restaurant served up their white chocolate bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and crčme anglaise – as well as their classic Raspberry sorbet.

We’ll put it this way – I’m a fan. And I’m 100 percent positive that I’ll be back for more of Prezza’s delicious treats and Italian fare – snow or no snow.
