Not only is it a sunny Saturday (finally) but it’s also National Margarita Day. And that, my friends, is reason to celebrate it-and-of itself. Whether you prefer to sip yours frozen with a brain-freeze, or on the rocks with plenty of salt – you can find all types of margaritas flowing throughout the Hub. So plan your liquid lunch or dinner, accordingly. We’ve rounded up a few spots where you can find them – as well as some Boston bars serving up special margaritas and deals today only. Happy drinking!

Border Café

This Harvard Square spot is always a favorite. Open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., this joint serves up multiple types of margaritas including strawberry and melon, per their menu.

Lolita

This Back Bay spot celebrates National Margarita Day, every day – but this Saturday is no exception. Try a glass or a pitcher of Lolita Margarita with zapopen reposado, combier liqueur, cane sugar syrup, and grapefruit.

MET Back Bay

For a twist on the traditional margarita, head to Met Back Bay for their Sweet Devil cocktail. This $12 marg includes tequila, lemon, chartreuse, honey syrup, and cracked pepper. You can find it in both their bar and dining room from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. today.

Mija Cantina & Tequila Bar

If you decide to head out to Mija today, we recommend ordering the special Mexican Rich-a-Rita cocktail. For $12, the margarita includes: Avion blanco, watermelon purée, fresh lime juice, jalapeńo slices, and a lime wheel. The restaurant will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m today.

Moksa

If you’re heading to Central Square, stop by Moksa for a pitcher of their special Sol-arita. The $14 drink is a Habanero laced margarita topped with “Sol” Mexican Lager. And you’ll also receive a complimentary chips and dip plate, today only.

The Painted Burro

This Somerville joint will be featuring “a special margarita contest during brunch,” according to Boston.com. Guests can order a flight of margaritas and then vote for their favorite. The winner will be featured on The Painted Burro’s spring menu.

Papagayo

Where better to celebrate National Margarita Day than at a tequila bar (am I right?). Try one of their tequila snow cones or Rona Ritas anytime from 11:30 a.m. until 1 a.m. And we also heard that in honor of National Margarita Day, the restaurant will be serving a special margarita for its guests.

Pier 6

This Charlestown restaurant is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. today. They’ll also be serving up a Margarita Day special with their Papichulo libation. The drink includes Avion Silver, triple sec, lime juice, and sriracha. In addition, Pier 6 will be featuring their oyster special (6 oysters for $6) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Ristorante Olivio

Ristorante Olivio will be serving up a special Winter “Blues” Berry Margarita today for $10. The drink features 1800 Tequila, fresh lemon and lime juice with muddled blueberries – and it’ll be available at the bar and dining room from 5 p.m.  to 11 p.m. today.

Strega Prime

If you feel like venturing out to Woburn tonight, then try Strega Prime’s trio of tasty Italian margaritas including: the Italian Amigo, Terra e Agave and Seńor Victor. Each for $9. The restaurant will be open for dinner starting at 4 p.m. today.
