Get your red carpet look ready! The Academy Awards will be here before you know it. And while many of you plan to watch it on your screen at home, we’re pretty sure that some of you would prefer a night out. What better excuse to don an oscar-worthy outfit, feel glamorous and celebrate your favorite movies than by attending one of Boston’s Oscar viewing parties.

Oscar Celebration at Back Bay Harry’s
This Sunday, Back Bay Harry’s will be hosting a celebration from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. It will be a “night featuring signature oscar-inspired cocktails, voting ballots, and prizes in an old Hollywood glamorous setting,” according to the description. To purchase your ticket, go here.
Canary Square’s Oscar Party
Jamaica Plain’s Canary Square restaurant will be hosting a special Oscar party complete with a red carpet, champagne, ballots and even “paparazzi.” You can also imbibe on Canary’s specialty “Oscar” cocktail as well as complimentary oysters, beef tartare, chick pea frites, and foie gras torchon are passed. Ellie Fund’s 18th Annual Red Carpet Gala at the Taj Boston
This annual fundraising event will be a “celebration of film, food and fashion featuring hosts Kelley Tuthill and Susan Wornick of WCVB-TV Channel 5. Unfortunately, it looks like event is sold out but check here for more information about being added to the waiting list.
Kings Back Bay Oscar Viewing Party
Kings Back Bay invites guests to join their “Oscar Viewing Party” on Sunday night. The event will feature movie-themed cocktails, free snacks, prizes for those who correctly pick the winners and (of course) a screen to watch the whole event live. Find more information, here.
The Oscars at The Trident
Trident Booksellers and Cafe will be hosting their own Oscar viewing party. The event from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., is free to the public. According to the website, they’ll be featuring a “special bar menu designed to honor some of the nominees.” This includes: American Hustle Disco Fries, a Gravity Space Latte, a Great Gatsby Sake Gimlet and more.
