It’s cold outside. Trust us – we know. But before things get too wretched and boring around here, we recommend trying something new – indoors. Fortunately, there are quite a few indoor “paint and drink” events happening in and around the Hub that will help you get rid of those winter blues. And don’t worry, spring will be here soon enough in all of its sunshine glory.

So jump the bandwagon and join the “paint and drink” craze at one of these fun spots below!

The Artist Bar

The Artist Bar is a traveling paint and sip party based on the North Shore. So if you live or work north of the city, this spot may be for you. The Artist Bar hosts painting parties in restaurant and even homes. Check out their schedule and buy tickets, here.

Boston Center for Adult Education

The BCAE is hosting their first-ever step-by-step painting class called “Paint the Night Red.” On Friday, April 11 students will paint and sip on a variety of cocktails crafted by the instructor himself using Deep Eddy Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka. You can sign up online or call the BCAE at 617-267-4430.

The Paint Bar

With a location on both Newbury Street and in Newton, the Paint Bar is a good choice for those who, perhaps, are a little more serious about the painting aspect of the night. Beer and wine are available for purchase to enjoy while painting. An instructor will guide participants through the session. Check out the schedule and buy tickets, here.

Paint Nite Events

Grab your girlfriends and head to one of Paint Nite Boston’s events happening around the city. The Paint Nites are held at various bars and venues in Boston – but sell out fast, so make sure you book yours soon. The price ranges from $30 to $50. Check out their schedule, here.

The Urban Art Bar

This South Boston paint and drink bar is perfect for parties – as their studio will hold up to 48 people total. Guests can “sip, socialize and paint” as a local Boston artist leads the class through the painting instructions. The studio has wine and beer available, as well as plenty of snacks. Check out the schedule and buy tickets, here.
