UPDATE: Boston Globe quote: “Police Superintendent Bernie O’Rourke said at the scene that the victims are 18 and 19. He said one woman is in stable condition, and the other is stable but in critical condition. He said police are searching for at least two people — a male and a female — who fled the scene.”

It’s being reported over social media that there was a stabbing on the corner of Hereford Street and Boylston Street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.

Details are scarce at the moment and we’ll be sure to update accordingly as they continue to roll in, but it appears as though there was a fight between two young women. It’s being construed that the altercation resulted in the injury of two victims, and it’s also possible that there are three assailants.

According to CBS Boston, “One of the victims was transported to Mass General Hospital and the other was taken to Boston Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown.”

WCVB’s Jack Harper is currently reporting that both women were teenagers, aged 18 and 19, and the suspect is known to them.

Writes Adam Gaffin of Universal Hub fame, “Police are looking for three suspects, all black, all young, all thin: A woman, 5’7″ with blue-dyed hair, in a black coat; another woman, about 5’6″ in a pink and gray knit hat and a long beige coat; and a man, 5’11” to 6′ in a black puffy coat.”

Stay tuned for more information as to how the proper authorities will proceed. We’ll keep you updated as more detials continue to be made publicly available.
