Things are looking up for Fenway’s Audubon Circle. Eater Boston reported this afternoon that the folks behind Trina’s Starlite and Parlor Sports (Beau Sturm, Jay Bellao, Josh Childs, and chef Suzi Maitland) are “taking over the Audubon Circle space” and opening a restaurant at 838 Beacon Street.

And it will appropriately be called “Audubon” – how fitting. Details are scarce but the site did reveal that the restaurant plans to open in spring for “lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.”

And given that both Somerville restaurants, Trina’s and Parlor Sports, have proved popular with Boston residents – this venture will hopefully be no different. Earlier this week we talked with one of the owners, Josh Childs, who revealed his typical day-to-day life. The co-owner who also owns the popular Silvertone bar revealed that after 23 years of bartending he “can still do it with a smile.”

And we’re guessing that his restaurant expansion news will also bring a smile to many faces. We’ll update you when we have more information but for now you can follow Audobon restaurant at their Twitter handle for updates to come.
