The MBTA has released its late night service schedule, set to go in effect March 28 (see: above). I know the announcement and the ensuing press conference should have been enough to evidence to show that this is the real deal, but seeing an official schedule in writing always does the most to cure temporary neurosis.

According to this schedule, the latest Red Line train will depart from Ashmont Station at 2:45 a.m. Saturday and Sunday morning; the latest Orange Line trains will leave at 2:10 a.m. from Oak Grove and Forest Hills; and the last Blue Line trip will leave from Bowdoin Station at 2:30 a.m.

The MBTA has included a couple of notes on the Green Line:

  1. The first B Line and second C Line inbound trains run through to Lechmere Station on weekends.
  2. The D Line will run to and from North Station off peak, late night, and all trips on weekends.

Start planning your weekends, everyone.
