Hurray for the first day of spring. And most importantly, for warm weather on the way (we hope!). It’s been a long, dark winter (still bitter), making it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But it’s here, folks. And what better way to welcome the Spring Equinox to Boston than with a spring cocktail?

Because let’s face it, the only way to forget the past few cold months ever happened is to drink. A lot.

Enter the spring-filled “Sakura Breeze” cocktail. Here’s where to find it in Boston and how to make it at home.

Buy It

If you’re feeling thirsty, you can find the Sakura Breeze cocktail at Haru in Back Bay. Sakura, Japanese for “cherry blossom,” is a libation that embodies the beauty and feeling of spring. And with St.-Germain Elderflower Liqueur and Grey Goose, the cocktail is especially delicious.

Make It

But if you’re looking to stay in one beautiful spring evening, you can make the cocktail for yourself right at home. Haru has provided us with their recipe for you to try sometime this season.
