A sure-fire sign of spring? The Red Sox are back. Today, the Boston Red Sox will be playing their first game of the season against the Baltimore Orioles. And even if the game isn’t at Fenway Park, it doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate in true Fenway Ballpark fashion. Hot dogs, anyone?

Fortunately, Coda Bar & Kitchen will be hosting their 3rd Annual Sox Season Opener Hot Dog Party today in Boston. Starting at 3:05 p.m. (game time), the restaurant will be serving up classic ballpark fare. So, if you’re looking for an excuse to play hookey – or bring your office out of winter hibernation – we recommend heading out to Columbus Ave. to chow down on a few Fenway Franks.

Chef Kyle Stamps of Coda Bar & Kitchen will be preparing traditional soft pretzels and park popcorn in three styles along with Coda Cracker Jacks and a variety of hot dogs. Here’s their game day menu, according to a Twitter post.

Despite all of these dressed up (and delicious) dogs, I plan to stick with the classic Fenway Frank. Let us know how you plan to celebrate the season opener in the comments below!
