Food truck fans have had a pretty good week. The mobile-eats season officially started this week and with it, hoards of returning and new food trucks swarming the streets of Boston. But now, it’s about to get even better. Tickets are officially on sale for the first ever Somerville Food Truck Festival.

The event will kick off the FTFNE season as well as the second season of ASSEMBLED, a handmade arts market at Assembly Row. The event will include New England Etsy artisans and food trucks, plus a beer tent, specialty food vendors, live music, and sampling tents.

The Somerville Food Truck Festival will be held June 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with some of New England’s most popular food trucks and a few new additions to the mix. Guests can graze, nibble and indulge in everything from bacon, Asian fusion, seafood, BBQ, grilled cheese, ice cream and more.

According to a release, participating trucks in the Somerville Food Truck Festival will include: The Bacon Truck, The Latin Spoon, Bon Me, Maine’ly Lobstah, Cameo Macaron, Moyzilla (Yakitori & Dumpling Kitchen), Captain Marden’s Cod Squad, The Pasta Pot, Frozen Hoagies, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Gabi’s Smoke Shack, Sweet Tomatoes, Happy Taco and more to be announced later.

This Somerville Food Truck Festival will be the first of six food truck festivals being produced by FTFNE in 2014.  You can buy your $5 ticket, here.
