Imagine a Restaurant Week where diners not only enjoyed a prix-fixe meal at a great restaurant, but also received boutique shopping discounts all while supporting local charities. Certainly a win-win for all involved – and that’s exactly the point.

Chestnut Hill’s “Eat at The Street Week” does just that. Starting tomorrow through Thursday, April 10, guests are invited to The Street – the heart of Chestnut Hill – to try some of the area’s new and existing restaurants. The event will feature special prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus.

The pre-fixe lunch menu includes two courses for $18. The dinner menu includes three courses for $30. Participating restaurants include: Aquitaine, Bernard’s, Davio’s Cucina, Del Frisco’s Grille, Showcase SuperLux, and The Cottage.

According to a release, both lunch and dinner diners will also receive “a charitable card where they can select one of three non-profit partners – Lovin’ Spoonfuls, Artbarn Community Theater, and Ellie Fund – to whom The Street will make a donation.” The Street plans to donate $5000 total to these three charities – but the percentage that each charity receives is decided upon by “Eat at The Street Week” diners.

In addition, you’ll also receive a boutique shopping pass for savings at The Street’s participating stores, including Portobello Road, Urban Grape, Polkadog Bakery and skoah.
