The Met Gala, an annual ball hosted by Vogue’s editor-in chief Anna Wintour, always has a theme. Last year, it was punk. This year? White Tie and Decorations. (Cue that collective huh?)

That’s right – the high-profile event will celebrate the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibit, “Charles James: Beyond Fashion,” by issuing a dress code of sweeping ball gowns and full “white tie” attire. But what about the “decorations” stipulation on the invitation? Well, that’s where I think the fun will come in. Be it embellished accessories or totally out-there hats, the possibilities are endless.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until May 5 to find out just exactly who and what everyone will be wearing – but I have a feeling Lady Gaga is going to have a field day with this one.
