The first official track off Lana Del Rey’s anxiously awaited album, Ultraviolence, has been released. “West Coast” has that velvety, brooding sound the crooner is known for, and it seems to be the perfect tune to heighten any and all anticipation of her forthcoming record. But there’s more: The new single surfaced along with a looped, black-and-white video of Del Rey spinning around on a beach with the same actor from her ”Born to Die” and “Blue Jeans” videos (a taste of what’s to come, perhaps?).

To say I’m counting the days until the full album drops, well – that would be an understatement. Just watch and listen to the video here to see what the hype is all about.
