Finally! The Back Bay neighborhood has its own Thinking Cup coffee shop. Boston Restaurant Talk is reporting via a Facebook post that the Thinking Cup has officially opened in the now closed L’Aroma Cafe spot at 85 Newbury Street.

The Thinking Cup currently has a location in the North End and along the Boston Common, making the Newbury Street location it’s third shop in the Hub. And while there are plenty of other coffee shop options in the Back Bay neighborhood, I’m confident that those who live and/or work will appreciate the shop’s cozy ambience and tasty offerings.

I, myself, have been known to frequent the Thinking Cup in the North End on a weekly basis. But with their special Stumptown Coffee and amazing sandwich selection – who could blame me?

Those who haven’t visited the coffee shop can expect a wifi-free zone, a variety of hot teas, coffees, and pastries. They’re all extremely delish – but undoubtedly, the best thing about the Thinking Cup (in my opinion) is the atmosphere and their grilled cheese selection.

The shop presents guests with their choice of bread, cheese and plenty of add-ons to choose from. It’s practically a grilled cheese bar inside of a gourmet coffee house – and we’re A-Okay with that.

So if you find yourself in the Back Bay area this week, feel free to “stop by and say hello” per the Thinking Cup’s request (above).
