The words “happy hour” aren’t something we hear every day in the Hub. But regardless, Bostonians love a good deal. Especially when it comes to beverages that happen to get through our 2 p.m. slump – like, coffee. Fortunately for us, Starbucks Frappuccino Happy Hour is back in town.

Starting today and lasting through May 10, participating Starbucks stores will be offering half-priced Frappuccino blended beverages, in any flavor and any size, to guests. You heard us right: cheap frappes for all.

The Frappuccino Happy Hour will last from 3 to 5 p.m. through May 10. And starting May 6 to 10, My Starbucks Rewards members can “enjoy an extended Frappuccino Happy Hour until 6 p.m. when paying with a registered Starbucks Card,” according to the site.

Some of the featured Starbucks Frappuccino flavors include The New Caffč Espresso Frappuccino (topped with new Espresso-infused Whipped Cream), Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino (topped with a layer of dark caramel sauce) and Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino (topped with chocolate whipped cream and chocolate cookie crumbles.).

From the sound of it, the sugar combined with caffeine from these drinks should keep you going for a while (or at least until that 6 p.m. crash).

And if you live and/or work in the Downtown Boston area, you should have no trouble finding a Starbucks coffee house near you. There’s practically one on every corner. You’ll just have to switch your afternoon pick-me-up from Dunkin’ to Starbucks – only for 10 days, of course.
