If you live and/or work in the Porter Square neighborhood, you now have a new watering hole to explore. Eater Boston is reporting via Boston Restaurant Talk, that McCabe’s on Mass is opening today at 4 p.m. in the former Dubliner Pub space.

Boston Restaurant Talk cites this Facebook post from the restaurant, announcing their arrival to the neighborhood.

Eater Boston also reports that the restaurant is “a sibling to Bull McCabe’s in Somerville’s Union Square, but the concept is different.” Unlike Bull McCabe’s there will be “no live music” and the menu includes “a large selection of small plates with different influences from around the world.”

According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, McCabe’s on Mass will be serving up small plates, sandwiches, entrees, fresh ingredients, and craft beer. The interior consists of wooden tables, comfy leather chairs, benches, and one very green wall  – from the looks of their Facebook, anyway.

If you go, the new restaurant is located at 2046 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge’s Porter Square neighborhood.
