Like music to my ears, two of the best things on earth are popping up together at the Terrace at The Langham next week – Lobster rolls and cocktails.

If you live and/or work in the Financial District, prepare yourself for a mid-week treat next Wednesday, May 21. The Langham will open “a daytime lobster roll pop-up and after-work cocktail destination,” an official source tells us.

Not only will there be fantastic views, as the outdoor terrace on Pearl St. overlooks Post Office Square, but there will also be plenty of mouthwatering New England fare. In addition to buttered-up lobster rolls, guests can also munch on thick and creamy clam chowder and sweet strawberry shortcake.

What says summer better than a lobster roll in your hand and a slice of strawberry shortcake on your plate? The answer is nothing (obviously).

In addition, the pop-up on the Terrace at The Langham will include summer cocktails and “light bites.” These appetizers include lobster guacamole, chilled colossal shrimp, and Mediterranean olive misto.

A source tells us that the pop-up will be open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and after work starting at 4:30 p.m. If you go, The Langham Boston is located in the Financial District at 250 Franklin Street.
