If you live and/or work in Somerville, you know that food truck sightings are rare. Unless you are attending something such as the Somerville Food Truck Festival, you will rarely get to experience the wide-array of mobile eats that so many in Boston do on a daily basis.

But starting tonight, that’s about to change. According to Eater Boston, Somerville will have its own “…mini food truck park,” as Taco Party food truck owner, Keith Schubert, puts it. The article reports that every Thursday evening there will be “a weekly duo of trucks parked in the loading dock area behind Brooklyn Boulders, which is located partway between Union Square and Porter Square, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.”

And if you’re already a big fan of the Taco Party food truck, then you’re in luck! It looks as though the vegetarian food truck will be at the mini food truck park every Thursday. And it will be “joined by a revolving guest truck,” reports Eater Boston.

To kick it off, you can expect to see both the Taco Party food truck and the Fugu Truck tonight. According to the article, the event will start off with tables and chairs, “but a tent and picnic tables will appear in coming weeks.”

Looking forward to it. This revolving food truck event in Somerville will last until October so make sure you take advantage of it one Thursday this summer. If you go, Brooklyn Boulders is located at 12A Tyler St in Somerville.
