Rejoice! It’s officially tank top weather. And that means, it’s time to sip summer cocktails and savor the beautiful outdoors (by a pool, of course) while you can. Even though plenty of Boston-area rooftops opened city-wide this month, one highly-anticipated rooftop oasis is finally making its summertime debut this weekend.
On Saturday, May 17, Rooftop @Revere will officially reopen it’s rooftop bar and al fresco lounge at the Revere Hotel. The 16,000 sq ft space includes a chic lounge area with chaise loungers, oversized day-beds, hanging egg-chairs and six caribbean-worthy cabanas.
Yep, time to dig that dusty bathing suit out of your closet because the rooftop is also located just steps away from the hotel’s indoor swimming pool.
Along with a suntan and a stunning skyline view, guests can also sip on one of the Rooftop @Revere’s refreshing cocktails – and (let’s not forget) “Classy Jello Shots.” That’s right – the rooftop will have upscale jello shots available to guests in Watermelon Basil Vojito, Spiked Blackberry Ginger Limeade and Champagne Sangria flavors.
Seasonal craft cocktails will be served by the glass or in a pitcher. Some of the libations include Passion Fruit Hurricane, Pavan Spritzer, Hibiscus Rum Punch and of course, plenty of sangria, pina coladas, and daiquiris (among others).
The rooftop is available on a first come – first served basis for hotel guests and is free of charge. However, starting June 7, non-hotel guests may access the pool for $30 on Saturday and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and daily, beginning on July 1. So start planning your cabana-filled rooftop afternoon ASAP.
