In case you haven’t noticed, we’re in the midst of graduation season. From B.A.’s to Ph.D’s, students all over Boston are leaving their academic homes to chase their dreams (or, you know, a job that pays the rent).

But what (besides finding a job) makes students and former students happy and successful? That’s a tough question and one which the emotional wellness startup, Happify, decided to find out.

Based on scientific research, the infographic charts the link between education, happiness and success. It also shows what specifically makes students – or recent grads – happier in the long run. For instance, you probably didn’t know that the happiest cities for job-seeking college grads are Charlotte (NC), St. George (UT), and Houston (TX). Sorry Boston.
