Rejoice! Chestnut Hill is finally getting a taste of the beloved, farm-to-table salad chain, Sweetgreen. After two successful openings in the Boston area including a Back Bay location and a Fort Point location – the organic salad cafe is expanding yet again. This time to 210 Boylston St. in Chestnut Hill Square.

And to make the news even sweeter, the salad chain is inviting guests to “pay what you want” on Tuesday, May 27. Similar to what they did during the Fort Point location opening, diners can pay whatever they want, as all proceeds will go towards benefiting The Food Project.

The new 1,813 sq ft Chestnut Hill location will occupy a large corner space with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. According to a release, “the light-filled new spot offers generous seating inside as well as outdoor dining.” The salad chain will be yet another addition to the Chestnut Hill Square development on Route 9, which already includes SoulCycle, Equinox, Drybar, Athleta, Anthropologie + BHLDN bridal boutique, Francesca’s, Sail Loft, True Runner, and Wegmans supermarket.

I, myself, am a big Sweetgreen fan (Kale Caesar for the win) and highly recommend checking out the organic salad spot. This specific Sweetgreen location will showcase ingredients from nearby Massachusetts farms including fruit from Ward’s Berry Farm; goat cheese from Westfield Farm; and bread from Iggy’s Bread of the World.

The cafe will begin their normal hours next Wednesday, May 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. In the meantime, check out all of what Sweetgreen has to offer on their menu, here.
