This upcoming weekend you can support American craft brews simply by quaffing them down at the American Craft Beer Fest. Presented by BeerAdvocate and Harpoon Brewery, the event is “the east coast’s largest celebration of American craft beer,” according to the site and will feature over 640 craft beers from more than 140 American brewers.

Beer enthusiasts can also drink their brews with the reassurance that every beer at the festival is paid for by the event. The American Craft Beer Fest also waives the craft brewers’ booth fees. Unlike most other beer festivals, these initiatives help support participating craft brewers.

However, tickets for this weekend’s American Craft Beer Fest are going fast – so we recommend buying yours while you still can. One of the three event sessions is already sold out. Tickets are still available for Session A on Friday, May 30 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and Session C on Saturday, May 31 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

If you go, check out the map and booth assignments as well as the current beer list. Participating breweries include Allagash Brewing Co., Aeronaut Brewing Co., Bad Martha Brewing Co., DC Brau Brewing Co., and many many more.

In addition to the festival itself, event attendees can also join the official pre-throwdown at Stoddards and/or the post-brunch celebration at The Kirkland Tap & Trotter in Somerville.

The American Craft Beer Fest will take place May 30 and 31st at the Seaport World Trade Center.
