Yes, the rumors are true! The record for ordering the “world’s most expensive Starbucks drink,” has been broken, reports Mashable. And no, I didn’t realize there was any such record to be broken in the first place, either.

But apparently there is (or was).

The Starbucks enthusiast, Andrew Chifari, ordered a $54.75 drink called the Sexagintuple Vanilla Bean Mocha Frappuccino, which contained 60 (I repeat: 60) shots of espresso. I’m just going to go out on a limb here and say that canNOT be good for you.

The order happened at his local Starbucks in Dallas, TX. Chifari, a Starbucks Gold member, was apparently “entitled to a free drink” and decided to use this to pay for his frappuccino monstrosity, reports DesignTaxi.

The article also reports that Chifari tweeted the event – and then proceeded to drink 20 shots before eventually finishing his drink on Wednesday.

However if you’re looking to try the drink for yourself, you may want to re-think that order. Mashable reports that “Consumerist estimates that Andrew’s drink contained 4.5 grams of caffeine and notes previous studies which claim 10 grams of caffeine is lethal to adults.” Yikes.

We’re not sure if Boston’s own Dunkin’ Donuts has a comparable coffee drink on their menu but we’re pretty sure, we won’t be drinking it – at either shop. Let us know what you think about Starbuck’s most expensive drink order, in the comments below!
