A new food truck serving up “elevated American Bistro cuisine and alcohol inspired mocktails,” is on its way to the Hub, reports Eater Boston. And according to a poster on Chowhound, the new food truck called Munch Mobile Kitchen & Bistro Bar could be hitting the streets as soon as this month.

The truck’s chef and owner, Nathaniel Lawrence “is an alum of Lucca Back Bay” and the other owner and general manager, Justin Bucenec, happens to be an alum of Masa, reports Eater Boston. That’s good news for Boston food truck fans looking for higher end mobile eats fare.

One look at their menu and it’s clear that Munch Mobile is attempting to up the ante in the food truck department. Diners can expect dishes like Braised Pork Tostada, Poutine with duck sausage and brie gravy, and a rotating selection of bruschetta (yes please!). Other dishes include Chilled Maine Lobster Salad with jalapeno cornbread, avocado mousse, and bisque – as well as Wild Mushroom Sliders on brioche with toppings like brussels slaw.

Most of their dishes also happen to be gluten free as well as “organic whenever possible, always fresh, and locally sourced,” as stated on their site. The owners claim that their mobile kitchen embodies what they “thought the scene in Boston was missing; a truck that has options for everyone, elevated thought on food preparation and presentation, and of course a ‘cocktail’ menu.”

The cocktail menu is comprised of non-alcoholic cocktails – or “mocktails” – but will apparently “taste like the real thing.” Check out the full list of fresh mocktails coming our way soon – and get excited for this new “high-end street food” truck.
