It’s no secret that the Bravo TV show, Top Chef, has been busy filming its 12th season in the Hub. Not only have there been plenty of Top Chef sightings around town, but earlier this month the TV show received over 16,000 local applicants hoping to appear on one of their episodes as a “diner,” according to the Boston Globe.

However, given that the filming locations are currently “top secret,” Bostonians are more likely to see the celebrity judges dining out on their own with only the cameras on their smart phones.

Fortunately, there’s been no shortage of Top Chef judge sightings of Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, and Hugh Acheson dining at various Boston restaurants. But if you haven’t lucked out and seen the judges in-person, you can still catch them on their Instagram and Twitter.

According to the Boston Globe, “Tweetosphere chirps offer judge sightings as do photos from the judges themselves.” And apparently, they’ve been visiting “the chefs they already know” such as the restaurants of Barbara Lynch, Ken Oringer, Jamie Bissonnette, Tiffani Faison, and Ana Sortun.

According to her Instagram, host and judge Padma Lakshmi been busy chowing down at places like Sofra, Drink and even SoWa food trucks (pictured above)!

And you can find the restaurateur Tom Colicchio at places like Coppa and B&G Oysters in the South End.

According to Gail Simmons’ twitter account, she’s been busy dining at Chef Tony Maws’ restaurant, The Kirkland Tap & Trotter – as well as Boston’s delectable O Ya restaurant.

Judge Hugh Acheson, will be “one of several occasional guest judges this season,” reports the Boston Globe. According to his Instagram, the judge has dined at B&G Oysters and Coppa. He also enjoyed some “solo sushi in Boston” at Oishii.

So now you know where the Top Chef celebs have been dining around town. In the comments below, let us know where you’d like to see them eating in Boston this summer!
