Have a smartphone? That means you have a free smoothie waiting for you.

Local movement #DownloadBoston, launched by Tom O’Keefe of @BostonTweets, aims to help Bostonians realize everyday apps are being built in their own backyard. Featuring nearly a dozen local startups on its website, #DownloadBoston wants people to discover and download apps that will be useful in their day-to-day existence. And this month, the movement is featuring four locally-made apps you can use to get yourself a free smoothie courtesy of local burger joint b.good.

Rotating through the remaining weeks of June, Bostonians will be able to snag a free fruity drink when downloading one or more of the following apps : Socii, an app that allows users to get rewards from a company for talking about their product; Tablelist, which connects party-goers with open tables for discounted prices at nightclubs; Mustbin, which allows users to securely capture, organize and share information on iPad or iPhone devices; and FotoDish, an app which lets users see a photo of their dish before they even order it, ensuring they get exactly what they are expecting.

Each startup is assigned different downloading days, giving people the chance to explore a new app, one at a time. After adding a given app on the right day, people can then get themselves down to DTX and score a free treat. Here’s how:

From 12 to 2 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday, make your way to the b.good Food Truck near 84 Summer Street in Downtown Crossing, show the crew the featured Boston-born app on your phone, and soon you’ll be enjoying a complimentary smoothie.

In addition to your drink, each download enters you into a drawing where the winner will get $100 in free food from b.good.

With Wednesday potentially hitting 90 degrees this week, a smoothie will be all but necessary. So declutter your homescreen and grab yourself a smoothie throughout June. Plus, you’ll find some cool startups along the way.
