Whether you decide to visit Pedro Martinez in a Good Humor ice cream truck or support the Boston Harbor Islands National Park at an annual summer gala, there’s something for everyone this week in Boston.

Monday

Inventive Eats with Kyle Stamps – 6 to 9 p.m. – BCAE – Kyle Stamps, executive chef at Coda Bar and Kitchen and formerly of The Salty Pig, will give you a hands-on tutorial for meals you can make all year long. Admission is $70.

WGBH and City of Boston’s ‘Freedom Summer’ – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Strand Theater – American Experience’s film ‘Freedom Summer,’ surrounding the summer of 1964, premieres on Tuesday, and tonight, WGBH and the City of Boston present a special pre-screening and discussion of the film. Mayor Walsh is expected to attend. Tickets are free, but RSVP is necessary.

Tiki Mondays – 11 p.m. – Wink & Nod – Wink & Nod’s late night tiki Mondays return tonight with Grand Ten Distilling’s mixologist and Boston Nightlife Venture’s beverage director running the scene behind the bar. Drink specials begin at 11 p.m.

Tuesday

The Future of Junk Food Part 3 – 6 to 10 p.m. – KO Pies – Chefs Samuel Monsour and Mark O’Leary’s popular dinner series continues on Tuesday when they’ll reinvent restaurant junk food favorites like spinach and artichoke dip, boneless buffalo wings, and more. Tickets ($85) are sold out on Eventbrite, so if you didn’t score yours yet, you’ll have to get creative.

Opus Affair June – 6 to 9 p.m. – Liquid Art House – Opus Affair’s monthly party is back, this time taking place at the new restaurant and art gallery hybrid, Liquid Art House. The featured art organizations in the running for the Punch Bowl Fund donations are A Far Cry, Lorelei Ensemble and Juventas New Music.

F.E. Trimbach Wine Dinner – 6 p.m. – Bistro du Midi – F.E. Trimbach’s head sommelier and Bistro du Midi’s Chef Robert Sisca are teaming up for a five-course dinner paired with wines. Dishes include crispy pork belly and pan seared tilefish. Tickets are $125.

Taza Chocolate and Wine Pairing Class – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Taza Chocolate Factory – Join Sustainable Wine Expert Alex Galimberti and Taza Chocolate’s Josh Mamaclay at a class showing off all the different and delicious ways to pair chocolate and wine. The event will include a flight of six wines and stone ground chocolates, plus a tour of the factory and a goodie bag for the road. Tickets are $55.

Patz and Hall Wine Dinner – 6:30 p.m. – Legal Harborside – Head to Legal Harborside on the waterfront for a four course dinner hosted by Donald Patz, co-founder of Patz and Hall Wines. Dishes include roasted lamb and black bass crudo. Tickets are $135.

Eastern Standard Champagne Dinner – 7 p.m. – Eastern Standard – Part of the Kenmore restaurant’s “Standard Education” series, this dinner will be hosted by Wine Director Colleen Hein, who is providing guests with a peek inside the Champagne wine region. There will also be five courses paired with champagnes. Tickets are $150.

Wednesday

Sunrise Salutations – 7 to 8 a.m. – Roof Top Pool at The Colonnade Hotel – Interested in morning yoga? These rooftop workouts will begin this Wednesday at the Roof Top Pool at the Colonnade Hotel, led by Boston yogi Rebecca Pacheco. The cost of each class is $15.

Canines and Cocktails – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. – TAMO at the Seaport Hotel – Starting this Wednesday, the weekly fundraiser event for animal lovers returns to the Seaport Hotel. Bring your dog and your friends and head to TAMO at the Seaport Hotel for a cocktail party supporting the Animal Rescue League. For every guest who attends, $10 will be donated to the cause.

Step Up to the Plate for One Brick – 6 to 9 p.m. – Baseball Tavern – For One Brick Boston’s first fundraiser, head to the roofdeck at Baseball Tavern for a cornhole tournament with a prize package from 90+ Cellars, food including hot dogs and pizza, a silent auction, drinks and more. General admission is $25; GA plus the cornhole tournament is $35. Food is included in ticket price.

Trish McEvoy at G2O Spa + Salon – June 25 and 26 – G2O Spa + Salon – Renowned makeup and cosmetics line Trish McEvoy will be visiting G2O Spa and Salon this week on Wednesday and Thursday for makeovers, lessons and one hour consultations in the Newbury Street space. Appointments are required and space is limited.

Thursday

Pedro Martinez in an Ice Cream Truck – 12 to 2 p.m. – Prudential Center – For the second summer in a row, Boston Red Sox great Pedro Martinez will be driving a Good Humor ice cream truck throughout Boston, beginning with the kick off event this Thursday outside of the Prudential Center. There will be photo opportunities and cold treats, and if you can’t make it on Thursday, keep tabs on the truck’s journey on Facebook, as it will be visiting different neighborhoods throughout the summer.

A Night in White for the Cure – 6 to 9 p.m. – The Yard at The Liberty Hotel – Join the fight against Crohn’s Disease at the second annual summer kick off party, a Night in White. Enjoy live music, food, dancing and drinks while supporting the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. Tickets are $95.

Seventeenth Annual Boston Harbor Island Alliance Gala – 6 to 9:30 p.m. – Spectacle Island – Head to Spectacle Island this Thursday night for their annual fundraising gala to support the Boston Harbor Islands National Park. There will be cocktails, tours and roundtrip ferry rides at this social event of the season.

Catwalk for BMC Cancer Care – 7 p.m. – State Room – Local designers have come together to put together a fashion show to support BMC cancer care. Emcee’d by Kim Khazei and Adam Williams of WHDH-TV 7 News Boston, the designs will be modeled by local personalities, including Miss Massachusetts. In addition to the fashion show, there will be a cocktail reception and an after party. Tickets are $125 each.
