While Tropical Storm Arthur may have dampened our Fourth of July plans on Friday, a free outdoor movie series kicks off this Saturday that can get you outside for a nice night, once the skies clear up. The Prudential Center’s Free Family Film Festival returns for the 2014 season this Saturday, July 5 with a showing of the blockbuster hit Frozen.

Sponsored by Magic 106.7, the outdoor movie nights will begin each Saturday through August 30 at 6 p.m. on the Prudential Center’s South Garden. There will be entertainment, games and giveaways before the feature begins, with the first 20 groups to arrive receiving a complimentary picnic blanket from the Prudential Center. If you make a $10 purchase in the center, you’ll receive discounted on-site parking. If there’s rain, which there might be this Saturday, the movies will run the following Wednesday at the same time.

Don’t want to hear little kids screaming the words to “Let It Go” this Saturday night (or out of town for the holiday)? Here’s the complete schedule of movies playing at the Pru this summer. Yes, they’re for kids, but don’t say you wouldn’t see The Little Mermaid outdoors.

July 12: Monsters University
July 19: The Smurfs 2
July 26: Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil
August 2: Despicable Me 2
August 9: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2
August 16: The Lego Movie
August 23: Finding Nemo
August 30: The Little Mermaid
