Happy Fourth of July weekend, folks! The holiday may be coming to an end but it’s not over yet – and neither are the celebrations. And what better way to go out with a Fourth of July bang than with a new brunch menu in the Boston area? And lucky for us, the recently opened Brass Union is launching their brunch today, July 6.

Brass Union will serve their weekly Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, starting today.

Brass Union is located in 70 Union Square in Somerville.

What

Brass Union’s brunch menu is described by the restaurant as a menu “filled with American-style preparations that are rooted in the classics and incorporate new twists and fresh seasonal bounty.” It includes steak & eggs; an egg sandwich with Iggy’s sourdough, two fried eggs, and whipped goat cheese; a mushroom toast with lightly poached egg yolk, ramps, smoked tomato aioli; Greek Yogurt; pancakes – and much more.

Brass Union also serves up three unique brunch cocktails including the Union Bloody with smoked tomato juice; gluten-free & vegan; the Salty Burro with tequila, salt and ancho blend, and housemade grapefruit soda; and, Passion Fruit Fizz with housemade passion fruit soda, and prosecco.
