It's time for a Boston summer!

You can’t argue with Boston summers; one, we’re home to Red Sox— Fenway, in the summer, is where dreams come true. Two, the Boston Common and the Charles River– city parks don’t get much more beloved. Third, Bostonians come alive in the summer— we’ve been hiding under out winter parkas for too long and we can’t help but break lose. BostInnovation is here to help make this summer in Boston the best yet. Before you head out into the sun check in with these websites, tweeters, and Facebook profiles to see what’s happening in Boston.

Websites
TeaParty Boston– No, this doesn’t have anything to do with Sarah Palin. We’re letting you in on a secret of ours and it’s the TeaParty Boston—one of the hippest Boston blogs you probably don’t know about. TeaParty Boston is your source for a non-mainstream look at Boston’s fashion, music, food, arts, and event scenes.

RiotVine– Not only does RiotVine aggregate all of the concerts, baseball games, and festivals in the city, it also tells you which of your friends from your social networks (Facebook and Twitter) will be there.

Goby– Everyone’s catches the adventure bug in the summer; use Goby to plan adventures around the city. This adventure search engine can help you plan a full day of activities; Goby tells you how long walking trails are, where the best yoga spots are, and where to get drinks after a long day of adventuring.

Twitter
@GlobeSox
– If you can’t make it to all of the Red Sox games, follow The Boston Globe’s Red Sox report on Twitter. They’re the best Red Sox Twitter account for game day stats so you’ll never miss a second of baseball.

@eatboston– Eat Boston’s cool factor increased significantly when he decided to put on Boston’s Bacon and Beer Fest. He’s not just into Bacon and Beer though– he’ll be tweeting reviews, deals, and news on the best restaurants in Boston all summer long.

Facebook

Summers in Boston aren’t just about restaurants on bars; Secret Boston will find you deals for the best pedicures to where to get your bike tuned up.

Groupon Boston– Good deals are so much sweeter in the summer. If you’re not on Groupon’s email address and would rather go the Facebook route, “Like” (formerly, “Fan”) Groupon Boston for the best deals in the city. Go in on a deal for kayak rentals on the Charles or an improv comedy show.

Museum of Fine Arts– With all the drinking and baseball this summer, you’ve got to balance it out with some artwork. The MFA’s approach to Facebook isn’t ancient at all— its kind of fun. Keep up to date with museums exhibits, events, speakers and classes.

Don’t tell us you’re not going to have a good time this summer. That’s up to you. Work you’re social media connections and find someone to hit the town with. Eat good food, drink good beer, cheer on the Red Sox, and don’t forget to get a little culture at the MFA. Stay, classy this summer Boston. And I’ll see you next week.
