The last full week of March followed up on the first week with a ton of new executive hires and board appointments at some of Boston’s most followed tech and digital companies. Here is a quick roundup that will catch you up to speed on some of the most buzzed about talent moves:

AMP Agency

Boston-based AMP Agency, a full-service digital and experiential marketing agency, has appointed Jamie Pappas as Vice President of Social Media. From the release:

“Pappas will lead the development and execution of strategic social media solutions for clients across a range of digital and social channels. Prior to joining AMP, Pappas spent five years with EMC Corporation, most recently in the role of Manager of Enterprise Social Media Engagement Strategy, where she led the strategy development, planning, and execution of the social media marketing function for this $17B global Fortune200 company of nearly 50,000 employees.”

Arnold Worldwide

Boston-based Arnold Worldwide has officially announced the appointment of eight hires, all formerly of Boston digital agency Modernista! Three of these hires will fill newly created leadership positions at Arnold including Matt Howell (joins as Managing Partner, Global Chief Digital Officer), Sebastian Gard (joins as SVP, Director of Social Media), and Bob Goodman (joins as VP, Director of User Experience. The other five hires are digital specialists in these three areas. From the release:

CloudBees

Boston-based CloudBees, the innovation leader in cloud computing for Java, has appointed John Vigeant, a 10-year server and open source software veteran from Citrix, to VP of Business Development. From the release:

“Vigeant is the latest in a string of top talent that CloudBees has attracted in the last couple of months. Recent ‘Bees’ joining the company’s stellar engineering team include: Ben Walding, CTO and long-serving operations manager of Codehaus; Paul Sandoz, formerly of Sun Microsystems, a member of the GlassFish team and co-specification lead of JAX-RS and Jersey; and Stephen Connolly, one of the original committers on Jenkins/Hudson, an avid contributor on Codehaus and an Apache Maven PMC member.”

Jumptap

Cambridge-based Jumptap, a leader in targeted mobile advertising, has appointed Regina Sebring as VP Publisher Partnerships. From the release:

“Sebring will be responsible for fostering current publisher and application developer relationships as well as building new alliances that will drive Jumptap’s corporate goals. Prior to joining Jumptap, Sebring served as vice president and general manager at AudienceScience, Inc, where she oversaw all publisher relationships and business development. She also held executive positions at Valueclick Media, Advertising.com, Phase2Media and Disney Internet Group.”

PatientKeeper

Waltham-based PatientKeeper, the leading provider of physician health information systems, has appointed Chris Stakutis, an accomplished software development leader, as VP Engineering. From the release:

“Stakutis, who has directed software development initiatives for companies ranging from IBM and Computer Associates to venture-backed start-ups, will be responsible for leading PatientKeeper’s development and test organization, and will oversee the company’s product architecture and technology. Stakutis’s organization currently employs about 80 engineers, a figure that is expected to continue to grow over the next several years.”
