Most people know the number: (800) MY-SEATS, which belongs to Ace Ticket, one of the top five largest ticketing agencies in the US.  The Boston-based company plans to bring some more foot traffic to Fenway with its brand-new Kenmore Square headquarters which cost upwards of $3 million. The goal is to create a state-of-the-art facility , complete with a high-tech ticket kiosk. Jim Holzman, CEO of Ace Ticket, told BostInnovation his new location will be the most modern, technologically advanced ticket location anywhere in world.

Holzman is very proud of his website because,”it is very PDA friendly” and understands the importance of “getting mobile”. Unlike most ticket agencies, you are buying seats in real time and you never lose your tickets while talking on the phone with a representative. He says Ace stores several million dollars worth of tickets which are stashed away somewhere secret. Holzman is currently working on technology where you can see exactly where your seats are located with visuals so you don’t have to rely on those seating charts. Holzman says they are also working on bar code technology so it is easier for you to print out your tickets at home.

Holzman says Fenway has a lot of restaurants, but not a lot of retail space and he’s trying to take the lead in changing that. Holzman says he’s currently selling a lot of Red Sox tickets for under face value so now is the time to see your favorite sports teams.
