Defined by innovation and an undercurrent of rich history, from our leading companies and cutting edge startups to our government and top tier colleges, Boston inspires. This photo series aims to capture it. Enjoy!

Last night Boston’s startup scene amassed for an event called RubyRiot in downtown Boston at a new bar called Scholars. The idea for the event was to facilitate connections between innovators in the area, with organizers asking attendees to sign up and indicate “I’m looking for…[______].” Since connections weren’t formally facilitated between people at the event, one savvy entrepreneur was already thinking ahead. Brent Grinna of EverTrue, a mobile app cornering university alumni networks that he founded out of Harvard Business School and is now part of the TechStars program, strutted the event in his pre-fab t-shirt and arrow pin.

Thanks to Sarah Hodges of RunKeeper for capturing this photo last night, and to the RubyRiot organizers for a great event!
