Defined by innovation and an undercurrent of rich history, from our leading companies and cutting edge startups to our government and top tier colleges, Boston inspires. This photo series aims to capture it. Enjoy!

Head of the Charles. Boston Marathon. Bruins. Celtics. Red Sox. Patriots. There is no denying that Boston is a sports town. When the Bruins headed to the Stanley Cup Finals a few weeks ago, our city became one of just two cities to have all four of our major professional sports teams playing in the championship finals since 2000 (Philly is the other). And when our teams are winning, our city’s GDP increases — with each home Stanley Cup game estimated to bring in $5M in new revenues.

Last night the Bruin’s dominated in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals with a 5-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks — tying the series at 3-3. The Bruins head to Vancouver to play the final Game 7 of the Stanley Cup this Wednesday. We simply could not be more inspired by how hard and well our city’s team has played during the series. The last time the Bruins won the Stanley Cup Finals was in 1972, and this is the first Game 7 we have ever played in.

After the win last night, the Prudential Center lit up with a salute to the Bruins. Thanks to @sriggs (Riggs) and @amohsen (Alia Mohsen) for sharing these great photos!

Go B’s!
