Affinova

Affinnova, the global leader in marketing innovation software and services, has appointed Jerome Simulin as SVP Europe from the company’s new office in Paris, France. From the release:

“Prior to joining Affinnova, Jerome Simulin headed his own strategic marketing consulting firm advising leading companies in consumer healthcare. Previously, he was Vice President EMEA at Nielsen BASES, where he led new account efforts. Prior to Nielsen, he was Deputy General Manager at Ipsos Novaction & Vantis, helping companies improve their innovation and brand strategies. Jerome graduated from EPSCI, the ESSEC French business school specializing in international business.”

Digitas

Boston based leading integrated brand agency Digitas has appointed Barbara Cipolla as EVP, Chief Growth Officer. From the release:

“Prior to Digitas, Barbara was an executive advisor working with brands on business strategy, brand positioning and media communications strategy.  Before consulting, she served as Chief Marketing Officer Worldwide, OMD/Omnicom Media Group (2009-2010) and spent 10 years at GroupM serving at MEC and then as President, MediaCom USA (2007-09).  In these roles, she delivered double digit growth for the agencies.”

Global Technology Systems

Global Technology Systems, the worldwide leader in design and delivery of portable power, has appointed Jerome (Jerry) Bobinski Jr. as Vice President of Sales. From the release:

“Prior to his new position, Bobinski held senior sales and business development positions at various mobile device equipment manufacturers, including Zebra Technologies and Symbol Technologies, now a division of Motorola Solutions. In these companies, he consistently displayed the ability to grow revenue, helping to lead sales efforts and develop accounts in strategic vertical market segments.”

Holland-Mark

Marketing consultancy Holland-Mark has appointed Jonathan Lee as its new Creative Director. From the release:

“Jonathan brings a broad scope of expertise ranging from traditional art to branding. Prior to joining Holland-Mark, Jonathan spent a year and a half studying at the Academy of Realist Art. He has worked at various agencies in Boston including Digitas, Partners + Simons, and Oak on brands such as GM, Blue Cross, Sam Adams, and LL Bean.”

Nasuni

Natick based Nasuni, a secure gateway provider to cloud storage that makes the cloud feasible for business users, has appointed Bill Simpson as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. From the release:

“Simpson brings more than twenty years of technology sales experience to Nasuni, much of which he has spent building strong channel and sales organizations for young, fast growing technology companies. He was named a CRN Channel Chief in 2009 and 2010, an award that recognizes outstanding achievement in leading partner programs. Immediately prior to joining Nasuni, Simpson served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Akorri, a storage and virtualization management company that was acquired by NetApp earlier this year. Prior to Akorri, Simpson was Vice President of Global Channel Sales and Strategy at Virtual Iron Software, a virtualization and virtual infrastructure management company that was bought by Oracle.”

T-Mobile

Wireless operator T-Mobile has appointed John Diefenbach as the first vice president general manager for the states of New England, including Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont and Massachusetts. From the release:

“John has deep field experience in wireless with more than 14 years of sales and field work for T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel and Let’s Talk Cellular Wireless. Most recently, John was T-Mobile’s indirect sales channel director for New England and Upstate NY. In the role, John led T-Mobile’s “Top 10” market effort in Boston and executed the launch of a number of National Retail accounts. Prior to joining T-Mobile, John served in a number of leadership roles with Sprint Nextel, the most recent of which was Area VP of New England. John is based out of T-Mobile’s Newton, Mass. office.”
