The Boston Bruins’ legendary $156,679.74 bar tab from June 18th celebrations at Foxwoods lives on (included below because, well, it’s just too epic not to view again). Here at BostInno we wanted to know who ordered the solo Kami Kazi shot, but Dutch brewery Amstel wants to know who ordered the solo Amstel Light. In a new marketing campaign, Amstel is asking the player who ordered the Amstel Light to come forth and solve the mystery. And if he does, Amstel will provide free beer for that player’s July 4th celebrations.

“We want to reward the Bruin who ordered the Amstel Light to recognize him for making a great decision,” the brewery said in today’s press release. Here is the letter Amstel sent to the Bruins:

We love this marketing effort by Amstel — kudos to their team for not only capitalizing on all the buzz around the bar tab, but hopefully generating even more buzz if the unnamed Bruins player reveals himself and parties yet again with Amstel Light.

The Bruins don’t seem to be as excited about the publicity around the bar tab as we Bostonians are, so we’re interested in watching if a player in fact comes forward. Captain Zdeno Chara said last week at the NHL awards in Las Vegas, “We had been given as a gift the bottle of champagne from Foxwoods and we knew after when we finished with it we would sign it and Foxwoods would auction it off. That number that is posted up is nowhere near what the actual price of the bill was. All I have to say is we are very disappointed that something like this is coming out that is not true.”

Here is that lovely receipt again for your enjoyment:
