In Scotland, on February 29th, it’s permissible and considered good luck for a woman to propose to a man she wishes to marry (which set up the plot for the big box office flop, Leap Year). In Boston, the Leap Day must mean good luck for Boston companies, because everyone decided Wednesday the 29th would be the perfect day to host an event. We’re not complaining though, because those events include burritos, whiskey and volunteering. Happy Leap Year!
