With the constant torrent of news about all the great innovation happening in Boston, it’s nice every once and a while to step back and take stock of things. And while it might seem silly, awards can be a great way of doing that. They’re a chance to step out of the stream of funding announcements, product updates and profiles to single out top performers.

Last night, at the Westin Copley with more than 400 attendees, the MITX Innovation Awards did just that. We just finished a series profiling all of the finalists, and the full list of winners is embedded below. True Fit, a personalization software startup that helps customers find clothes that truly fit, was a big winner, taking home multiple awards, for Best Consumer Tech that Makes Life Easier and Most Insightful Analytics.

Temperature@lert, a temperature monitoring company, also brought home two awards, for Best Bootstrapped Startup and Best “Doing Good” Innovation.

“The organizations we’re honoring this year are among the best and brightest powering Boston’s innovation economy,” said Debi Kleiman, president of MITX, in a release. “They put Massachusetts on the map in a way that our whole community can be proud of, and MITX is thrilled to bring together such an inspiring group.”

Investor of the year went to CommonAngels, based on having the most portfolio companies make it to the finalist stage.

Legendary entrepreneur and investor Bill Warner was also inaugurated into the MITX Innovation Hall of Fame.
