Any Shark Tank fans in the house? Ever wondered how you’d do under that kind of pressure? Now’s your chance to find out.

Bzzagent, the local social media marketing company, will be hosting a session at the upcoming FutureM marketing conference called the Boston Angel Shark Tank, moderated by CEO Dave Balter.

If interested, you need to sign up for the Boston Angel Shark Tank during FutureM, MITX’s Future of Marketing conference, on October 25. Yes, that’s right. Bzzagent is creating its own version of the Shark Tank to put Boston entrepreneurs through the paces, with $100,000 given out on the spot to worthy startups.

The “sharks” include Katie Rae of TechStars Boston, Mike Troiano of Actifio, Pete Blacklow of GSN and Boston Seed, and Fred Destin of Atlas Venture. The funding comes from Boston Seed, Atlas Venture, Dharmesh Shah, and one anonymous investor.

Do you have what it takes? I asked Balter by email what he’s looking for from startups for this competition and here’s what he told me:

We’re not interested in fancy powerpoint presentations or the perfect CV.  We want people with heart, with character and the guts to get up in front of this group and tell their story.  The panel is a mix of VC, angel and independent investors, so the pitching companies will get all perspectives.  The question is: will they get shark bites…or make shark jerkey?

So are you up for it? You have between now and October 1, the nomination deadline, to decide. Click here to register your startup or someone else’s. To get excited for this event, I recommend watching this Mark Cuban Shark Tank montage:
