Free events such as Screen on the Green make it easy for students, interns and recent graduates to enjoy DC entertainment without breaking the bank. Kicking-off on July 22nd, the weekly Monday night event invites residents and visitors to enjoy classic flicks on the National Mall that are projected on a massive screen.

The festivities begin at sundown; however, it is not uncommon for groups to gather and socialize early to claim prime seating locations (as early as 5pm). The lineup this year includes major motion picture films ‘E.T. the Extra Terrestrial’, ‘Norma Rae’, ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’, and ‘Tootsie’.

SIN meet-up groups will be in attendance weekly. Wear your SIN Band to easily connect with other members, or contact your favorite SIN rep to get linked up with one of the groups. The National Mall is located between 7th and 12th streets NW, easily accessible via Metro transit. If you have any questions shoot us a tweet. See ya there!
