How You Will Be Assigned Stories

You may, of course, submit story ideas to the editor at any time. If your idea is accepted, the producer will give you a word-count and a deadline and any instructions related to that story. If your story idea is rejected, the editor will attempt to give you some idea as to why. Take that feedback into account as you submit future story ideas.

For stories that we assign, the process often looks something like this:

– The producer will send story ideas to your email regularly.
 – If you want one of the stories, please reply to the email.
 – The producer will choose from among the respondents. However, the producer will have a natural bias for those who respond first.
