Once again voted DC’s Best Performing Artist by Washington City Paper, Max Major will be the opening speaker and performer at the Rebuilding America: Path of the Entrepreneur event on Friday afternoon at Georgetown University. The festivities will kick-off at noon, and the event is free to attend with a student ID.

In August of 2012, Major debuted his newest theater show, THINK: An Evening of Mind Reading and Magic,
at the Hotel Helix in Washington, DC. Originally scheduled for just 4
performances, Major’s engagement was extended for over 3 months as it
sold out for 15 consecutive weeks.

Max is an entrepreneur that enjoys sharing his message, highlighting the fact that you can truly pursue any career you are passionate about if you’re willing to put in the effort.  He is a magician (and future politician) living in Washington,
DC. His performances, which combine magic, mentalism, and hypnosis, are
featured at corporate events across the country. In addition to his
studies as a magician, Major relies heavily on his skills at reading
body language, which he has honed over the course of over 2000 live shows.
His clients in 2012 included Deloitte, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen,
Hughes Networks, and even a command performance at the residence of Redskins
owner Dan Snyder.

Come out on Friday to check out Max Major’s opening performance, followed by presentations from established business owners and a pitch competition open to collegiate entrepreneurs. (details here
