Pope Francis is coming to Washington D.C. The Vatican has just released the full itinerary for the Pope’s trip to the United States, which includes a three-day stint in the nations capital. This will be the 10th time a pope has made an apostolic journey to the U.S., the last being Pope Benedict’s tour in 2008.

The Pope will begin his U.S. trip in D.C., arriving at Joint Base Andrews Tuesday, September 22 at 4 p.m. The following morning, he has a welcoming at the White House, presumably followed by a private meeting with President Obama, then a Midday Prayer with the bishops of the United States and finally will hold Mass at the Basilicia of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at 4:15.

If you’re hoping to catch a glimpse of Pope Francis, Wednesday is probably your best bet. When Pope Benedict visited the White House in 2008, more than 9,000 people attended his welcoming ceremony, including members of the public who got tickets in a lottery drawing, and another 4,000 packed onto Pennsylvania Avenue to watch his motorcade.

The Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine may be another opportunity to see the Pope, as more than 47,000 attended Pope Benedict’s Mass at Nationals Park, following 200,000 requests for tickets. Considering Pope Francis’ almost rock star status, it’s not unlikely that there’ll be an even higher demand for tickets this year, if they’re open to the public.

On Thursday morning, the Pope will address a Joint Session of the U.S. Congress, then will visit St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington. At 4 p.m., he departs for New York, where he’ll address the U.N. general assembly, and the next day hold a multi-religious service at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

The Pope’s final stop will be Philadelphia, where he’ll take part in the World Meeting of Families on the 26, a triennial gathering of Catholics, and then will depart for Rome on the 27.
