Along with the reveal, Social Tables welcomed D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser, who spoke about the city’s efforts to help catalyze tech business growth and District-based innovation. CEO Dan Berger (pictured right) celebrated the unveiling by announcing a company initiative to host 100 D.C. tech events within the next two years.

The 30,000-square-foot office space also offers a new, centralized hub for the larger D.C. tech scene, Berger explained. Much like the growth experienced by the city’s general tech economy, Social Tables has rapidly become a software powerhouse in the event planning and coordination market.

The company boasts a number of high profile clients, including Marriott hotels, Dow Jones and Forbes magazine.
