Recovering after a long weekend? Keep up that Fourth of July energy (it was kind of a soggy bust, after all) and get out there this week. There’s plenty to do here in Boston to distract you now through Friday, from a free concert on City Hall Plaza to a trunk show in Martha’s Vineyard.

Monday

Mike Stud Album Listening Party – 7 to 10 p.m. – Boatonian – Join local artist Mike Stud on the Boatonian this evening for an up close and personal listening party of his new album, “Closer.” Tickets are $20.

Women in Games July Party – 7 to 10 p.m. – Tommy Doyle’s Kendall Square – Boston’s female gaming community is getting together tonight in Kendall Square for their monthly meetup; this time, Brianna Wu of Giant Spacekat will be the guest speaker.

Tuesday

The Greg Hill Foundation’s Seaport Strong – 6:30 to 9 p.m. – Del Frisco’s – Celebrity bartenders, drinks, and Del Frisco’s food can be found at this event benefitting The Greg Hill Foundation’s Boston Marathon Survivor Fund. There will also be a silent auction with prizes. Tickets are $50.

Wednesday

Hard Rock Cafe Boston’s 25th Anniversary Concert – 7 to 9 p.m. – City Hall Plaza – Celebrate 25 years of the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston with a concert in City Hall Plaza featuring the Spin Doctors.  The event is free and open to people of all ages.

Greek Beat Fest – 7:30 to 11 p.m. – Beat Hotel – Head to the Beat Hotel in Harvard Square for a night of Mediterranean-inspired dishes and music from traditional Greek artist Synavlis. No entry fee, dishes, like the mezze platters, roast lamb and more, are served a la carte.

Thursday

Huge Rare San Diego Beer Night – 7 to 10 p.m. – Foundry on Elm – Pintley Beer Events is hosting an evening of ‘huge rare San Diego beers,’ with 18 brews from six CA breweries: Stone, AleSmith, Lost Abbey,Green Flash, Ballast Point, and Coronado. There will also be Foundry food served. The event is free to attend, pay as you eat and drink.

Ellie Kai Martha’s Vineyard Pop Up Shop – July 10 to 15 – The Vineyard Hotel – Local designer Ellie Kai is hosting a pop-up shop and trunk show at The Vineyard Hotel at Martha’s Vineyard. Shop the perfect-for-summer dresses in different shapes and styles, and learn more about the brand.
