I have news for you – if you don’t like seafood, you may be living in the wrong place. It’s no secret that Massachusetts – and New England in general – has some of the best seafood you’ll find anywhere in the world. Where would we be without our clam chowder or our lobster rolls? A sad thought, indeed!

Thankfully for Bostonians, we can celebrate our shellfish obsession this weekend at the third annual Boston Seafood Festival. On Sunday, July 27, the Boston Fisheries Foundation will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the historic Boston Fish Pier and you’re invited.

Tickets are selling out fast, however. As of right now, all VIP and Premium tickets have been sold but $10 General Admission tickets are still available. These tickets include admission to the 2014 Boston Seafood Festival, free sample from select vendors, live entertainment, chef demos, the oyster shucking contest, the fish cutting contest and more.

And trust us – there will be more seafood available than you know what to do with. Lobster rolls, sushi, fried clams, crab cakes and more will all be available from the many different food vendors. The vendors include Daily Catch, Captain Marden, Yankee Lobster, Big Rock Oyster and many more.

The Boston Seafood Festival begins this Sunday at 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. For more information on the festival and for tickets, check out the event’s website here.
